Clinical Value Analysis Coordinator

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Your Role:
  • Leads supply expense management initiatives through a structured, evidence-based value analysis process.

  • Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.
  • Leads and coordinates the value analysis process; ensures product and service decisions support clinical effectiveness, operational efficiency, and financial goals.
  • Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams; evaluates new technology, products, and equipment for safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Partners with clinicians, supply chain leaders, and key stakeholders to standardize product utilization, optimize total cost of ownership, and support high-quality patient care delivery.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and implements cost reduction and expense management initiatives that maintain or enhance clinical outcomes; tracks same via the “Value Analysis” software platform.
  • Oversees product issues, recalls, and backorders resolutions; ensures patient care continuity and safety standards compliance.
  • Uses analytics to monitor utilization trends, measure outcomes, and provide actionable insights to support supply expense management.
  • Leads and supports initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with clinical, operational, and financial objectives.
  • Facilitates communication among clinicians, Supply Chain (multiple departments), and vendors to align decisions with institutional priorities and maintain strong collaborative relationships.
  • Advances the organization’s mission to achieve sustainable value and continuous improvement across the care delivery environment through clinical insight and data-driven analysis.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY:
Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in nursing from a program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
Preferred Education:
  • Master’s degree in business administration, health science, or a related academic discipline.
Required Experience:
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience in a clinical or progressively responsible role within a diverse and operationally complex healthcare environment
Preferred Experience:
  • Cost containment, expense management, and value analysis experience.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

  • Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (F.S.), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure]
