Close Support Technician III

Overview:
VTG is seeking a Close Support Technician who is responsible for providing in-depth support and problem resolution for Information Technology products, access administration, and/or applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Interacts with users to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and performance problems for customers using LANs, PCs and printers.
  • Analyzes and levies customer requirements to the appropriate technical business unit, and may serve on teams installing software upgrades.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (equivalent military training may be considered)
  • 6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, network exploitation, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve technical problems, and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of standard desktop hardware and software
  • Demonstrated knowledge of server administration, maintenance, and user account management
  • An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
