Cloud Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Cloud Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in managing cloud infrastructure and services, with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar environments. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing cloud-based systems to support business operations and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on Google Cloud (and other platforms as required)
• Monitor system performance, security, and scalability to ensure high availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services and integrations
• Implement best practices for cloud security, cost management, and optimization
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to support cloud-based applications and services
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP); AWS or Azure experience is an added advantage
• Proficiency with cloud services, networking, virtualization, and security protocols
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Certified, AWS Certified) are a plus
