Position Objective:
Design and deliver a scalable, secure private cloud platform using VMware and OpenShift. The role is focused on architecture, build, and onboarding, ensuring the platform is production-ready, standardized, and aligned with security and governance requirements.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of private cloud infrastructure and container platforms.
- Defining architectures (HLD/LLD), building core platforms (VMware & OCP), integrating with enterprise systems (network, security, ITSM), and enabling cloud capabilities such as automation, self-service, and multi-tenancy.
- Define standards for scalability, availability, and security.
- Align designs with Cyber Security and governance requirements.
- Deploy and configure VMware stack (vSphere, vCenter, NSX-T, vSAN).
- Implement DR architecture and replication strategies
- Design and deploy cloud management components (vRA, vRO, vROps).
- Design and implement automation workflows (vRO, Ansible, APIs).
- Enable self-service provisioning and service catalog (via ServiceNow / vRA).
- Build templates, blueprints, and standardized deployments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in OpenShift / Kubernetes architecture and administration.
- Proven expertise in container networking, CNI plugins, and multi-cluster connectivity.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, automation frameworks (Ansible, Helm, ArgoCD), and GitOps practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with cross-functional collaboration experience.
- Language proficiency: English (required); Arabic is an added advantage.
