Cloud Network & Security Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Cloud Network & Security Engineer with 3-4 years of experience to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure deployments. This is a purely hands-on role focused on the design, configuration, and validation of cloud network landing zones. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between legacy on-premises environments and modern VPC architectures.

Core Responsibilities

•  Act as the primary technical point of contact for Cloud Networking, Firewalls, and Perimeter Security.
• Design and implement network architectures, including VPCs, Subnets, ACLs, and Security Groups .
• Deploy and configure perimeter defenses ( vSRX, FortiGate, VRA5600 ) and load balancing solutions ( ALB/NLB, NetScaler, F5 ).
• Assist customers in performing end-to-end traffic flow validation to ensure connectivity, security, and performance post-migration.
• Apply industry-standard frameworks to ensure scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud architectures.

Technical Profile

• 3-4 years of dedicated experience in Network Engineering or Cloud Security.
• Proficiency in Juniper vSRX and Fortinet (both CLI and GUI). Must understand vendor-specific Order of Operations (Packet Flow) for troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience in connectivity management, including BGP, GRE, IPsec VPNs, and Direct Link/Direct Connect .
• Direct experience configuring Cloud-Native Load Balancers (ALB/NLB) alongside third-party appliances like Citrix NetScaler and F5 .
• Solid understanding of VMware NSX (T/V) components, including logical switching and distributed firewalls, to facilitate smooth migrations.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical VPC designs.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
• Preferred Certifications:  Juniper: JNCIA-SEC / JNCIS-SEC or JNCIP-ENT, Cisco: CCNA / CCNP (Enterprise or Security).
• Cloud/Other : Fortinet NSE 4, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or IBM Cloud Professional Network Engineer.
