Cloud System Administrator

Description:

The Cloud Systems Administrator supports the operation and maintenance of Advocare’s cloud infrastructure, including Active Directory, Exchange Online, Office 365, Entra, and related services, with a strong emphasis on Identity and Access Management (IAM), system reliability, and user lifecycle management.

Essential Functions

Cloud Infrastructure Activities:

  • Monitor and maintain performance and availability of cloud services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Perform break-fix support in alignment with established SLAs.
  • Maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to cloud systems.
  • Assist with provisioning and access control for cloud-based applications.

Identity and Access Management (IAM):

  • Support IAM operations including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews.
  • Maintain and improve workflows for user lifecycle events (e.g., hires, terminations, rehires).
  • Implement and support automation of routine IAM tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Ensure IAM tools and processes align with organizational needs and security standards.

General Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support cloud-related initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Stay informed about updates and changes in cloud platforms used by the organization.
  • Other activities as assigned.

Required Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Proficiency with Active Directory, Office 365, and Entra administration.
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell preferred) for automation and task efficiency.
  • Understanding of user lifecycle processes and access control principles.
  • Strong documentation and process mapping skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Work will primarily be remote.

Travel

This position is expected to travel to our corporate office located in Marlton, NJ twice per month

Requirements:

In addition to the items included in the job description, please take note of the hybrid nature of this role. Applicants to this position will need to travel to Marlton, NJ at least twice per month.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of administrative experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and Entra

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or an appropriate field.
  • Microsoft Office 365 or Entra certifications
  • ITIL Certification
