Cluster Chief Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering & Maintenance Oversight
• Lead and supervise the engineering and maintenance operations across all hotels in the cluster.
• Ensure proper functioning of all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems, HVAC, elevators, fire & safety systems, and utility services.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all properties.
• Oversee energy management and sustainability initiatives to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
• Team Leadership & Coordination
• Manage engineering teams at each property, providing guidance, training, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure consistent engineering practices and standards across all hotels.
• Budgeting & Cost Control
• Prepare and manage annual engineering budgets for all properties.
• Monitor expenses, control operational costs, and negotiate with contractors and suppliers.
• Recommend cost-effective solutions for maintenance and capital expenditure projects.
• Compliance & Safety
• Ensure compliance with local government regulations, municipality standards, and brand requirements.
• Maintain fire, life, health, and safety systems across all cluster hotels.
• Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and safety drills.
• Project Management
• Oversee renovation, refurbishment, and new capital projects.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects.
• Ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations during projects.
• Operational Support
• Provide technical support to hotel operations in case of emergencies.
• Coordinate with General Managers and other department heads to support smooth guest experiences.
• Ensure 24/7 readiness for engineering-related issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month

Experience:

• 4 or 5 Star Hotel Chief Engineer: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driving License (Preferred)
