Summary

Grand Hyatt Kuwait is looking for Cluster Director of Purchasing to support the designated properties with all materials management tasks.

You will responsible for directing the Purchasing department across both properties; overseeing procurement of all materials, services, and equipment required for successful hotel operation; and obtaining competitive bids on all goods and services submitted on approved purchase requisitions.

Qualifications

An ideal candidate will possess:

• 3-5 years’ experience working in luxury hotel
• Excellent knowledge of materials management (food, beverage, and consumables).
• Experienced in business negotiations.
• Positive outlook & team player with good communication.
• Creative & passionate by nature, and someone who keeps up with new trends.
• Focused on quality and consistency with keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and keep calm in difficult situations.
• Proactive work style.
