Job Title: Cluster HeadDepartment: Operations / AdministrationReports To: Regional Director / Managing DirectorJob Summary:
The Cluster Head is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations, performance, and growth of multiple branches or centers within an assigned cluster. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, business development, team leadership, patient/customer satisfaction, and compliance with company policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:1. Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of all centers in the cluster.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all departments — Admin, HR, Finance, Clinical, and Support Services.
- Monitor and maintain quality, safety, and service standards.
- Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliances are met.
2. Business Performance & Growth
- Achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets for each branch.
- Analyze business performance and implement corrective action plans where required.
- Identify new business opportunities and expansion possibilities.
- Coordinate marketing and promotional activities within the cluster.
3. Financial Management
- Review financial statements and cost reports for each branch.
- Control operational costs and optimize resource utilization.
- Approve budgets and monitor expenditure against plan.
4. Team Leadership & HR
- Lead, mentor, and motivate Branch Managers and departmental heads.
- Drive staff performance through clear goal setting and regular appraisals.
- Ensure adequate manpower and training across centers.
- Promote a positive and performance-driven work culture.
5. Customer / Patient Relations
- Ensure superior service quality and customer satisfaction across all branches.
- Handle escalated complaints and implement preventive measures.
- Promote a patient-first / customer-centric culture.
6. Reporting & Coordination
- Submit regular reports on performance, revenue, and operations to senior management.
- Coordinate with central teams (HR, Finance, Marketing, Quality) for smooth cluster operations.
- Represent the cluster in management meetings and strategy discussions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
- 8–15 years of experience in multi-unit management (preferably in hospital / healthcare / service sector).
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proven track record of managing teams and achieving business targets.
