CMMS Engineer

Minimum Educational Requirements / Qualifications:

§ Bachelor’s degree in engineering Discipline

§ Additional training/education in SAP, IT/database management and other CMMS would be an advantage.

Minimum Experience:

§ 6 years’ relevant experience in SAP implementation and management within the oil and gas industry.

Skills and Competencies:

§ Technical knowledge and experience with SAP and engineering technical applications.

§ Should be conversant with Oil & Gas industry terminologies, read and interpret P&ID identify type of equipment to prepare Functional location hierarchy.

§ Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

§ Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working knowledge and experience of Major Integrity Threat (MIT) management and principles of Safety and Environmentally Critical Elements (SECE) identification and SAP application

1) Analyze end- business requirements, and coordinate master data preparation and upload.

2) Review and Quality check the functional locations that have been identified as performing a Safety and Environmentally Critical Element (SECE) function resulting from the company technological Risk Assessment (TRA) that identified critical barriers necessary to mitigate or prevent escalation of major accident events

3) Assign correct SECE classification to the FLOC as directed in company standards

4) Select appropriate maintenance tasks based on equipment, technical class and/or recommendations from Discipline (Methods) Engineers. Build Maintenance plans, Items, task lists, standard texts.

5) Assign Measuring Points to be used to record as/found/as-left condition of the equipment following function testing or technical maintenance

6) Receive newly raised and approved SAP Master Data Change Requests and perform Quality checks, liaise with discipline engineers and CMMS team for clarifications for implementation

7) Ensure master data equipment hierarchy is well maintained, with correct financial, functional, equipment and reliability data.

8) Generate reports to monitor progress and performance of various activities and programs (including KPIs).

9) Become familiar with company specifications and guidelines related to Maintenance Strategies, Criticality Assignment, Master Data standards and naming conventions consistent with existing CMMS data.

10) Perform other similar or related duties as required or assigned by the Senior CMMS Engineer.

11) Prepare SAP data upload sheets in accordance with the standardized templates designed for mass data changes in the SAP system.
