Job Description

We are looking for a passionate PHP / CMS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with WordPress development and basic familiarity with other CMS platforms such as Shopify, Wix, and WooCommerce. The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining websites while ensuring performance, scalability, and a great user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and functionalities for WordPress websites.
• Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins.
• Develop custom WordPress plugins using PHP, following best practices and coding standards.
• Extend and customize existing plugins and CMS functionalities to meet project requirements.
• Work with WooCommerce for eCommerce website development and customization.
• Assist in managing and customizing websites built on Shopify and Wix platforms when required.
• Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented PHP code.
• Perform UI testing and optimize website performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users or clients.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to deliver functional and cohesive solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and CMS trends.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of overall web development experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in PHP and WordPress development.
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Basic knowledge of WooCommerce customization.
• Familiarity with Shopify and Wix CMS platforms is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and applying it to plugin architecture.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Git version control.
• Understanding of website performance optimization.
• Experience working with REST APIs or third-party integrations.
