Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including in-home care and possible assisted living facilities. The Nursing Assistant will work independently to deliver high-quality care.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide dementia care and support for patients with cognitive impairments.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Assist in the use of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during all interactions.
• Maintain accurate patient daily activity logs and ensure documentation of care provided.

Requirements

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent training is preferred.
• Experience in senior care or assisted living environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with DME usage and maintenance is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively independently in an in-home environment.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving patients safely as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
