Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic NOC CNA/MEDTECH for the overnight shift (NOC) to join our compassionate healthcare team. Duties
- Deliver compassionate patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
- Monitor vital signs regularly and accurately document findings in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks.
- Administer medications and perform basic clinical procedures following aseptic techniques and hospital protocols.
- Support patients with specialized needs including dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, behavioral health, or those requiring hospice or palliative care.
- Assist clinical staff with complex procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy, or wound management in accordance with infection control standards.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and accurate record-keeping of patient information.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in various settings including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, or home & community care environments.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNA or MedTech working in acute care settings such as ICU, Level I Trauma Centers, or emergency departments.
- Prior experience with critical care environments including ICU, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for documentation and patient data management.
- Experience providing specialized care including dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, hospice support, or behavioral health services.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology fundamentals, and aseptic techniques required for safe patient handling.
- Hands-on experience with medical-surgical procedures, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts.
- Background working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or developmental delays in settings like assisted living or nursing homes.
