CNC Designer

We are a leading marble and tile manufacturing company specializing in custom patterns, medallions, moldings, decorative stonework, and 3D marble carving solutions. We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional to join our team and support our CNC-based stone production operations.

Position: CNC Design & Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Create and prepare 2D drawings using AutoCAD for marble and tile production.

Develop 3D models, reliefs, carvings, and decorative stone designs using ArtCAM.

Generate accurate CNC toolpaths for 3D Router machines and optimize machining processes.

Operate and manage Waterjet cutting projects, including intricate patterns, medallions, inlays, and custom stone designs.

Prepare production files and ensure proper machine setup for manufacturing.

Work with Profiler machines for stone shaping, moldings, and edge profiling operations.

Coordinate with production teams to ensure design accuracy and efficient manufacturing.

Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production-related issues.

Maintain quality standards and minimize material waste during production.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong practical experience with ArtCAM for 3D modeling and CNC toolpath generation (mandatory requirement).

Hands-on experience with 3D CNC Router machines and machining strategies.

Good knowledge of Waterjet machines for marble, granite, and tile pattern/medallion cutting.

Experience working with Profiler machines and stone processing equipment.

Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and production drawings.

Understanding of marble, granite, porcelain, and natural stone manufacturing processes.

Ability to read technical drawings and convert concepts into production-ready files.

Knowledge of CNC tooling, feeds, speeds, and machine optimization.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in marble, stone, tile, architectural, or decorative manufacturing industries.

Knowledge of CNC machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with G-code and CNC production workflows.

Ability to manage projects from design concept to final production.

Experience with custom architectural stonework, moldings, medallions, and decorative carvings.
