CNC Lathe Operator

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications and production plans.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets to determine machining requirements.
• Prepare, install, and adjust tools, fixtures, and workpieces for machining operations.
• Perform machine programming edits, tool offsets, and minor adjustments as required.
• Monitor machining operations to ensure precision, surface finish, and compliance with quality standards.
• Inspect and measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, CMM, etc.).
• Conduct routine maintenance and ensure machines are kept in optimal condition.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report any deviations, breakdowns, or quality issues promptly to the supervisor.
