CNC Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wood CNC Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC woodworking machines. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, programming CNC equipment, and ensuring precision in producing wooden components as per design specifications. The operator will also be responsible for machine upkeep, quality checks, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC woodworking machines to produce parts as per design requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files.
• Program CNC machines using the required software or input machine codes.
• Select, prepare, and load raw materials (wood, MDF, plywood, etc.) into machines.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Maintain equipment, perform minor repairs, and report major issues to maintenance teams.
• Optimize machine settings and cutting tools for efficient production and minimal material wastage.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials and tools.
• Follow health and safety standards at all times during machine operation.
• Maintain records of production, machine performance, and job completion.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator in woodworking (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, cutting tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CNC programs.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Good understanding of machine safety procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Physical stamina to handle wood materials and stand for long shifts.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or technical certification in woodworking, CNC machining, or a related field.
• Vocational training in CNC operation is a plus.
