CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-axis CNC machines — Large format parts with lot sizes range from 20 to 1,000.
• Read and interpret blueprints and/or work instructions to understand project specifications
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished parts
• Collaborate with supervision and/or the engineering team on setup optimization and process questions
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Manage priorities based on a production schedule and adjust accordingly

Requirements

• Experiance in CNC machining is required, programming and setup experiance strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• A strong understanding of G-Code programing
• Strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with multiple types of material including but not limited to steel, aluminum, cast iron, titanium, etc.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
