CNC Programmer

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with the drawing
• Use computer software (MasterCam X4 or Sprut Cam) to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly.
• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
• Ensure products meet design specifications.
• Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
• Consider tools required to cut materials and program machines accordingly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening.
• Collaborate with engineers and machinists to improve manufacturing processes.
• Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programs
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

· 5+ years experience as a CNC Programmer

· Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks).

· Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, etc.).

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

· Knowledge of metal properties, tooling, and machining techniques.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Experience with multi-axis machining (3-, 4-, 5-axis CNC).

· Familiarity with lean manufacturing and process improvement.

· Ability to understand and talk in English.

Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month
