CNC Programmer

ADALET is seeking a reliable, experienced candidate with the ability to manually program CNC mills and lathes including simple Macro programs with the goal of transitioning over to MASTERCAM. Part location probing is preferred.

We are looking for the following:

Ability to manually program CNC mills and lathes including simple Macro programs

Solid experience with MasterCam or similar CAM software

Continually maintain a database of machine programs and revisions

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Experience troubleshooting machine and programming issues

Willingness to work with and help develop machine operators and setup personnel

Fanuc and Okuma controls

2-axis lathes - Okuma, Mori Seiki

Vertical and horizontal mills

Part location probing

General knowledge of producing various types of threads including National Pipe Threads

- Probe M+H Renishaw Marposs

Have you worked with tooling vendors and specified tooling? Do you have a solid tooling background in the following:

- Thread Milling

- Inserted Drill

- Diamond Facemills

- Topping Inserts for lathe threading

Would it be fun to research new CNC equipment to help grow the business and satisfy customer demand?

Do you like to work alone, but also in groups? In this position you will work closely with the manufacturing engineer to ensure that routers and cycle times are accurate. You will also work closely with the supervisors and lead hands to ensure that jobs are being machined the most efficient way possible. You will have interaction with the engineering team regarding new parts and solid models to help with CAM.

Extra Bonus points if you have working knowledge of GIBBSCAM, MASTERCAM, or CAD/CAM equivalent software.
