Co-op Internship

Description:

As an Intern at Lamba, you will play a vital role in assisting and facilitating various STEAM studios, workshops, field trips, and after-school programs. You will actively contribute to curriculum development, participate in meetings and training sessions, provide valuable feedback for continuous improvement, and engage in research and development initiatives. This internship program offers a dynamic opportunity to gain practical experience in educational settings while being immersed in a culture of creativity and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in and conduct STEAM studios, workshops, field trips, and after-school programs under the guidance of Lamba’s educators.

2. Undertake an innovation project, by engage in collaborative planning with the head educator, leveraging the intern’s technical expertise and the resources at Lamba's maker space to develop and complete the project by the end of the internship.

3. Attend meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities organized by the company.

4. Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for potential improvements in program delivery and content.

5. Collaborate with Lamba’s educators in creating content, including preparing presentations, lesson plans, and teacher notes.

6. Ensure compliance with the educator's guide and company policies and procedures.

7. Participate in the research and development process to enhance program effectiveness and relevance.

Qualifications and skills:

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or a graduate from one of the following fields:

o Architecture and Interior Design

o Electrical/Computer/Mechanical/Industrial/Sustainable Engineering

o Product Design

o Computer Science

- Proven experience in teaching

- Excellent communication, analytical skills, and public speaking.

- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent in English and Arabic language
