Position Title: Senior Teacher
Reports To: Head of Section / Academic Coordinator / Principal

Purpose of the Role
The Senior Teacher plays a key leadership role in the academic and co-curricular life of the school. They are responsible not only for delivering high-quality teaching but also for mentoring junior teachers, maintaining academic standards, and ensuring effective classroom and administrative management in line with the school’s vision and policies.
Key Responsibilities1. Academic Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum and learning objectives.
- Ensure differentiation in teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs of students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, grades, and assessments.
- Prepare students for examinations, competitions, and academic challenges.
- Contribute to the development, review, and improvement of curriculum plans and teaching materials.
2. Mentoring & Leadership
- Act as a role model for professional conduct, classroom management, and work ethics.
- Mentor and guide junior teachers in lesson planning, classroom strategies, and assessment methods.
- Provide constructive feedback to colleagues and support in their professional growth.
3. Student Development
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Identify students’ strengths and weaknesses, providing additional support or enrichment activities as needed.
- Promote critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students.
4. Coordination & Administration
- Coordinate academic and extracurricular activities within the assigned grade level or subject department.
- Ensure that lesson plans, diaries, and teaching aids are up-to-date and meet quality standards.
- Assist in school events, annual functions, exhibitions, and inter-school competitions.
- Prepare reports for parents, management, and relevant authorities.
5. Professional Conduct
- Maintain punctuality, discipline, and a positive attitude towards work and colleagues.
- Attend meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions as required.
- Uphold the school’s policies, values, and code of conduct at all times.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or relevant subject area.
- Minimum 2years of teaching experience, preferably with leadership or mentoring exposure.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in modern teaching methods and classroom technology.
Performance Indicators
- Quality and consistency of lesson delivery.
- Improvement in student academic performance.
- Feedback from students, parents, and colleagues.
- Contribution to the professional growth of junior staff.

Pay: Up to Rs15,000.00 per month
