G1 Homeroom Teacher-Johar town branch

The Grade 1 Teacher will be responsible for teaching core subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, etc.) and developing foundational academic, social, and emotional skills in young learners. The teacher must foster a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Teach core subjects with a focus on developing reading, writing, numeracy, and critical thinking skills.
• Create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages participation.
• Design fun and interactive activities to support holistic learning (academic, social, and personal).
• Assess and monitor student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Develop lesson plans, classwork, homework, and assessments tailored to Grade 1 learners.
• Foster good classroom management through positive discipline and encouragement.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school management to support student development.
• Communicate effectively with parents about student progress, strengths, and areas of improvement.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development workshops.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area (B.Ed/M.Ed preferred).
• Prior teaching experience at the primary/elementary level (Grade 1 experience preferred).
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).
• Excellent classroom management, creativity, and communication skills.
• Ability to use innovative and interactive teaching methods suited to young learners.
• Patient, empathetic, and passionate about early childhood education.

Pay: From Rs25,000.00 per month
