Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails and beverages efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately and swiftly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially during busy nightclub or banquet events.
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or light bites to complement drinks.
• Handle food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
• Manage time effectively during shifts to ensure prompt service even during peak hours.
• Upsell beverages and promote specials to increase sales while providing excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations across the venue.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient transactions.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating drink portions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience working in the food industry or hospitality environment is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively in nightclubs or catering events.
