CODED WELDER

Summary of Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• 2500 0 400 - Fully competent in brazing, gas welding, gas cutting, submerged metal arc welding (SMAW) and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW)
• Perform welding for all types of carbon steel, stainless steel, chrome-molly steel and aluminium to obtain an acceptable X-Ray welding joint, as per the concerned welding procedure.
• Rectify the welding defects based on X-Ray results and should aware and fully knowledgeable of all types of fillet, lap and butt welds applying in all welding positions.

Education: Industrial Diploma Certificate/ITI.

• Welding Qualification Certificate from Qatar Energy approved TPI. (Preferred: Valid welder certificate of at least six (6) months period for welding Carbon steel, stainless steel chrome molly steel and aluminium pipes using SMAW and GTAW for position 6G and should be approved and stamped by Qatar Energy approved TPI.)
• Experience: Ten (10) years minimum experience in SMAW and GTAW welding of all types of metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel, Low Alloy chrome-molly steel and aluminium with experience in Refinery/Petrochemical industries.

Age limit: Not over the age of Forty-five (45) years.
