CODED WELDER

Summary of Major Duties and Responsibilities:

- Fully competent in brazing, gas welding, gas cutting, submerged metal arc welding (SMAW) and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) - Perform welding for all types of carbon steel, stainless steel, chrome-molly steel and aluminum to obtain an acceptable X-Ray welding joint, as per the concerned welding procedure. - Rectify the welding defects based on X-Ray results and should aware and fully knowledgeable of all types of fillet, lap and butt welds applying in all welding positions.

Education:

Industrial Diploma Certificate/ITI. Welding Qualification Certificate from Qatar Energy approved TPI. (Preferred: Valid welder certificate of at least six (6) months period for welding Carbon steel, stainless steel chrome-molly steel and aluminum pipes using SMAW and GTAW for position 6G and should be approved and stamped by Qatar Energy approved TPI.)

Experience:

Ten (10) years minimum experience in SMAW and GTAW welding of all types of metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel, Low Alloy chrome-molly steel and aluminum with experience in Refinery/Petrochemical industries.
