Coding Specialist

DEPT: Compliance / Coding

LOCATION: Maury Regional Medical Center (MOB 4th Floor)

SHIFT: Full-Time Day Shift (Flexible)

JOB SUMMARY:

Reviews patients charts and performs ICD-10 and CPT coding for DRG and APC assignments. Works with medical staff and hospital staff to obtain documentation for accurate coding.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC or Coding Certification Required

· 1 Year of Coding Experience Required

· High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
