JOB PURPOSE & DUTIES
Serve as a personal clerical assistant to a Family Medicine Physician based in Snellville, GA focusing primarily on documentation of patient charts.

• Accompany physician into patient rooms to thoroughly document patients' electronic medical records
• Track and document laboratory and radiology studies
• Research past medical records, record medications given, responses to therapy, and physician consultations
• Other clerical duties as required

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• Commit to 12 months of availability to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Friday weekly
• Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Snellville, GA
• Interested in pursuing a career in healthcare
• Experience with computers and typing
• Sharp, motivated, and reliable
• Some knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to type at 50+ words per minute

Please note: This position is in an office setting and will require that you have full days availability (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday)
