Coffee Barista

Hello, we at Craft Coffee Cart have been growing in business over the last six years and are looking for someone in the Denver area to join our team!

We are a traveling coffee cart for pre-paid events. This means that we are typically hired by corporate clients, concerts, weddings, and events of all types for a pre-determined amount of time. For example, we may be hired to serve 100 drinks at a corporate office in Denver for 3 hours. Nearly all of our events are pre-tipped, so realistically, you'll be making $25-$30 per hour.

You will also be paid an additional $40 for every event you take on as payment for you prepping for every event.

We are looking for an individual who is trustworthy, hard-working, has great customer service, is willing to grow with the business, and ideally loves coffee! You would likely be working a handful of events every week. A typical event would be driving to the location, setting up, serving for the allotted amount of time, and then packing up. The average working shift which would include preparing for the event, driving to the event, serving, and then returning home, is typically about a 6 hour shift.

We are ideally looking for someone who wants a part-time job, but is willing to commit to any morning hours we may need. Most of our events are on morning weekdays.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, and teas
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee cart and equipment

- Pick up milk + ice prior to events.

- Store equipment at your residence. The equipment takes up about a 6x6 space, but can be configured in different ways to fit most spaces.

- Clean equipment and refill supplies.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and familiarity with different types of coffee beans is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate coffee equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation. Your car must be able to fit our equipment. Pretty much any four-door car, sedan or larger, will fit our equipment and cart.

- Must be able to work mornings.

- Must live in the greater Denver area and be willing to travel to events in and around Denver.

- Must have fridge space for milk and ice.

Additional Note: We also own a photo booth rental business that operates largely out of the greater Denver area as well. Our hope would be for whoever we hire to come on as a barista for coffee events, but also be trained as a photo booth attendant (most of these events are in the evenings). This is a very fun and easy job as well.
