Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding and expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

A collaborating physician must be a licensed, practicing physician in good standing, typically with board certification in a relevant specialty, and possess a DEA license. They must be familiar with state and federal guidelines to ensure compliance, though the specific requirements and the nature of the collaboration (e.g., supervision, consultation) vary by state and the role of the advanced practice provider.

Core Qualifications:

  • Current Physician License: Must hold a valid medical license in the state of Florida
  • Good Standing: The physician should be practicing without sanctions on their licenses.
  • Relevant Board Certification: Board certification, or eligibility, in family or internal medicine.
  • Federal Licenses: Possession of a federal DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) license is necessary.
  • Knowledge of Regulations: A thorough understanding of state and federal guidelines is crucial for ensuring compliance and providing appropriate oversight.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and patient management.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
  • Chart Review

Skills

  • Proficiency in EHR systems and EMR systems for effective patient management.
  • Knowledge of coding systems including CPT coding and ICD coding for accurate billing processes.
  • Experience with telehealth services to provide remote patient consultations. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Job Type: Contract

Pay: $6,000.00 - $6,100.00 per year
