Collections Executive

Job Summary:
This is a full-time on-site role for a collection officer at Building Materials in Abu Dhabi. The Collection Officer will be responsible for day-to-day debt collection activities, utilizing analytical skills to assess accounts, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining clear communication with clients. In addition, the collection officer will handle financial transactions related to collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers for pending payments as per agreed credit terms.
• Maintain accurate records of customer contacts, accounts, invoices, and collection activities.
• Coordinate with the sales and credit teams regarding overdue accounts and payment issues.
• Report daily activity
• Follow collection reports and identify the areas action needed to take.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in coordination with internal teams.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients while ensuring timely recovery.
• Email communication should be maintained.
• Escalate critical overdue accounts to management for further action.
• Visit customers regularly to follow up on outstanding payments.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Collection Officer, preferably in the building materials/trading industry.
• Any nationality that speaks Arabic (fluent)
• Strong knowledge of Debt Collection and Finance skills.
• Customer Service and Communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• UAE driving license mandatory.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
