Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Collections Team Lead for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services.

Job Summary:
The Collections Team Lead is responsible for managing and overseeing the collections team to ensure timely and effective collection of outstanding debts. This role involves leading a team of collectors, setting performance goals, monitoring team progress, and optimizing collection strategies to maximize recoveries.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee a team of collections representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Set team and individual collections targets and monitor progress towards goals.
  • Develop and implement effective collections strategies and processes to improve recovery rates.
  • Analyze collections data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting and sales, to coordinate collection efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to collections.
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their collection skills and knowledge.
  • Escalate complex or high-value cases to senior management as needed.
  • Prepare collections reports and presentations for management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a collections or credit management role, with at least 2 years of team leadership experience.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and leverage collections data.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in the collections industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Certification in collections or credit management.
