About the student

• college student, freshman at Lone Star Community College
• The student needs to work with a tutor to prepare for the TSA exam.
• The student a visual learner and needs everything to be shown step by step for her. She has done group tutoring but is needing a more of 1 on 1 setting. Student learns better with repetition.
• The student's goal is to attain a test score of 4 but she is currently at a 2.
• The student is asking for 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, between 1pm-5pm, any day Monday through Friday.
• The student is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Katy.

The TSA Exam (Computer Based Test or CBT) is a mandatory, 2.5-hour, in-person assessment for Transportation Security Officer (TSO) applicants. It tests English proficiency (50-60 questions on vocabulary/reading) and X-ray object recognition (100+ images) to identify hidden, potentially dangerous items.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates have prior experience working with college students.
• Ideal candidates will have prior experience tutoring or teaching test prep.
• Ideal candidates will have prior experience with the TSA exam.
• Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
• Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.

Student Availability

MON-FRI: 1:00pm-5:00pm
