Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Contracts and Commercial Director to lead the commercial and contractual management of large-scale construction projects in the GCC region, specifically within KSA. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience managing complex contracts, with strong expertise in FIDIC contracts and proven leadership in mega projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to ensure project profitability, risk mitigation, and compliance with regional regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all contract administration, negotiation, and management activities for major construction projects.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies that align with company goals and project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with FIDIC contract conditions, local laws, and international best practices.
• Manage contract risks proactively and resolve disputes effectively to safeguard company interests.
• Collaborate closely with project management, legal, procurement, and finance teams to optimize commercial outcomes.
• Review, draft, and negotiate subcontract agreements, claims, variations, and change orders.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the contracts and commercial team.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare and present commercial reports, forecasts, and contractual status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, legal changes, and GCC-specific commercial practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Law, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in contracts and commercial roles within the construction industry, specifically handling mega projects in the GCC.
• Proven track record of successfully managing contracts in KSA.
• FIDIC Certification is mandatory.
• Deep understanding of FIDIC contract conditions and GCC construction laws and regulations.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in contract management software and MS Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼45,000.00 - ﷼50,000.00 per month
