About the Role
Citiscape, a leading construction and landscape solutions company under
Abunayyan Holding
, is seeking an experienced
Commercial Director
to lead and oversee all commercial aspects of the companyâs projects. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of profitable, compliant, and strategically aligned commercial operations across all project portfolios.
This leadership role requires a dynamic individual with a strong commercial mindset, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to guide teams toward achieving organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all commercial activities across the companyâs projects to ensure financial and contractual success.

Ensure strict adherence to company policies, commercial strategies, and contractual obligations.

Lead claims management processes, including reviewing variations, assessing cost implications, and coordinating with legal teams.

Establish and maintain a comprehensive register for claims and variation orders across all projects.

Collaborate with engineering, planning, QS, procurement, and estimation teams to produce commercial proposals.

Engage with clients, contractors, and consultants to secure approvals and manage commercial negotiations.

Drive effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Provide leadership and mentorship to the commercial management team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Support dispute resolution processes and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelorâs degree in
Civil Engineering
or a related field.

PMP certification
is required;
FIDIC
knowledge is preferred.

Minimum
10 years of experience
in commercial management or contract administration within the
construction industry
.

Deep understanding of commercial practices, project management, and contract law.
