Commercial Door Technician/Installer

Job Summary:
Join our team as a Glazier at our service-based business specializing in door repairs and glass replacements. We offer competitive pay based on experience. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing and removing glass from various storefronts, glass system and partitions, as well as performing door repairs, installations and adjustments for hollow metal doors, and interior commerical doors.

Responsibilities:

• Install and remove the glass from varieties of storefronts, curtain walls, and partitions
• Install door closures and perform repairs and adjustments to doors of various types
• Install doors of various types including but not limited to, hollow metal doors, solid masonite doors etc.
• Obtain accurate measurements
• Identify proper materials for jobs
• Travel from job to job
• Maintain an organized and stocked vehicle workspace
• Inspect job materials and ensure correct size and style before arriving at the job site
• Ensure job site is clean and all materials removed when the job is complete
• Communicate with office staff and customers
• Input various job details in software
• Willingness to work as a team and independently
• Able to use tools needed to complete job assignments that may include but are not limited to: screw guns, saws, hammers, drill motors, glass cups
• Proficient in the use of a smartphone, apps on a smartphone, using phone systems to check-in and out of jobs, gps, and other electronic equipment needed to complete service work

Requirements:
- Must be physically able to lift and maneuver 150+ lbs (glass and door materials) unassisted.
- Successful completion of pre-employment medical/physical exam and drug screening.
- Minimum of three years of experience in the glazing industry.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Possess a clean driving record.

Pay: $20.00 - $39.00 per hour
