Main Responsibilities:

Build strong relationships with business stakeholders in the respective Therapy Areas as an embedded team member to translate business needs and opportunities into digital solutions and capabilities that generate business outcomes including digital health and digital engagement

Defines the digital roadmap (new digital capabilities in line with business priorities with timelines and budget); aligns with local, international and global stakeholders and executes upon the strategic Digital roadmap which realizes goals and objectives in line with digital governance framework

Works with global, international and area Digital/IT teams to shape local demand and assess proposed solutions in alignment with digital/IT strategic direction, policies and standards

Leads end to end project management including planning, analysis, build/development phase (in partnership with vendors and/or AZ Digital/IT teams), testing, piloting/validating, release/deploy/ go-live. Identifies & structures problems/challenges, leads cross-functional teams’ problem-solving efforts by using subject matter expertise

Facilitates digital progress review meetings, provides visibility and drives alignment on the digital roadmap execution to ensure all stakeholders are up to date on the overall project progress, achievements, risks, issues and mitigation plans

Drives the alignment of new digital platforms and solutions that are cascaded from global, or international teams; leads the local deployment of global or international digital projects for the respective TA’s

Monitors the utilization of digital solutions/platforms; identifies and raises issues; provides guidance to business leads and stakeholders to maximize adoption and utilization to realize the business benefits

Constantly looks for better ways of solving problems, investigates and suggests alternative solutions and challenges the status quo for continuous improvements

Establishes and maintains a strong relationship with IT vendors; Partners with internal stakeholders (legal, procurement etc.) to execute contracting processes in the form of Statement of Work (SoW)
Qualifications

Minimum a Bachelor’s degree STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or a related field

7-10 years of work experience in a similar role and experienced with working in Digital Technology department as a Digital partner

Prior work experience in pharma industry with strong business acumen and preferably cross industrial experience (commercial digital, IT and omnichannel/digital health understanding)

Prior experience in managing and implementing end to end projects leveraging advanced digital technologies (AI/ML, RPA , VR/AR/XR, wearables, low-code no-code platforms etc)

Experienced in delivering solutions with vendors, managing vendors, planning and managing budget

Preferred prior experience in design thinking, lean startup mindset and delivering solutions in Agile/Scrum approach, digital product management roles
