- Install, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, fryers, and ventilation systems
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose technical issues and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing problems in kitchen equipment
- Replace faulty parts and components in a timely manner to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to schedule maintenance and repairs with minimal disruption to operations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards during all service tasks
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed
- Provide technical support and training to kitchen staff on proper equipment use and care
- Source and manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability for repairs
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and service requests
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices for installation and repairs
- Assist in upgrading or installing new kitchen equipment as needed
