Commercial Lawyer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to provide expert legal guidance across a variety of business transactions, contracts, and corporate matters. The role requires a deep understanding of the law, regulations, and general principles of commercially favorable jurisdictions, with the ability to provide strategic advice to support business growth and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate is mature, well-versed in cross-border transactions, and able to operate with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

· Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier contracts, partnership agreements, and service-level agreements.

· Advise on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.

· Ensure the company’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.

· Provide legal risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential liabilities.

· Liaise with regulatory authorities, external counsel, and other stakeholders as needed.

· Monitor changes in relevant laws and advise management on implications for the business.

· Support internal departments with legal input on operational and commercial matters.

The ideal candidate would have:

· A law degree from a recognized university, with a valid license to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.

· Minimum 5 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer, preferably with exposure to English and international law.

· Prior experience working with multinational corporations or large-scale commercial transactions.

· Prior experience with technology, digital assets, and finance would be very favorable.

· Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.

· Culturally adaptable and capable of working in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
