- The advancement of our industry, brand, and reputation is being driven by our Pipefitters. As a Commercial Pipefitter, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Plan piping system installation or repair, including cutting, threading, and bending
- Lay-out, assemble, install, maintain, and repair many different types of pipe systems
- Measuring, cuts, threads, and bends pipe using hand power tools or machines.
- Cuts openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings using hand and power tools.
- Mounting hangers and brackets as required
- Installing valves, coupling, and other fittings
- Maintaining a safe and orderly job site and functions
What you need for this position:
- Must be in the Greater Tampa area
- Graduation from high school, vocational school, or training equivalent.
- 5+ years of related experience in pipefitting work
- Must know how to fit carbon steel, utilize a cutting torch, sweat copper, and must have basic knowledge of reading prints
- OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
