Commercial Plumber

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain complex plumbing systems in commercial buildings following blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and mechanical diagrams to ensure accurate installation of piping and fixtures
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding equipment, and other construction tools efficiently and safely
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Conduct remodeling, assembly, and handyman tasks related to plumbing systems as needed on construction sites
• Collaborate with project managers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for compliance and quality assurance

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction plumbing within commercial or industrial settings; familiarity with construction site safety standards is essential
• Strong mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, welding, schematics reading, and HVAC systems understanding
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and plumbing-specific equipment confidently
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint interpretation
• Experience with carpentry, remodeling projects, or handyman work is a plus
• Valid commercial driver’s license preferred for site transportation needs
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or confined spaces as required on construction sites
• Knowledge of construction plumbing codes and schematics reading skills necessary for precise installations

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
