We are seeking a Commercial & Procurement Consultant – Projects to act as a critical interface between the Projects Department and the Procurement & Contracts Department, ensuring all technical, commercial, and contractual inputs are fully prepared, aligned, and ready before formal tendering and contracting.
Key Responsibilities
Project Commercial & Procurement Support

Support the Projects Director in aligning procurement activities with project schedules, budgets, and delivery requirements.

Coordinate commercial and technical inputs required for procurement activities prior to tendering.

Support early identification of commercial and procurement considerations impacting project delivery.
RFP / RFQ / Tender Documentation

Support the preparation and review of technical RFPs, RFQs, and tender documentation in coordination with consultants and project teams.

Ensure scopes of work, specifications, drawings, and deliverables are clear, complete, and aligned with project objectives.

Review BoQs, quantities, and assumptions to support tender readiness.
Supplier & Contractor Coordination

Support the maintenance of qualified contractor, supplier, and consultant lists across project disciplines.

Participate in technical and commercial pre-qualification activities.

Assist in maintaining shortlists to support efficient tendering processes.
Commercial Review & Cost Support

Review quantity surveying outputs, cost plans, and commercial assumptions.

Support bid evaluations from a commercial and technical perspective, including clarifications and value engineering discussions.

Assist in aligning scope, pricing, and budget expectations.
Contractual Coordination

Support the review of draft contracts to ensure alignment with project scope and commercial intent.

Coordinate with Procurement and Legal teams during pre-award stages.

Assist in identifying areas requiring clarification or alignment prior to contract finalization.
Interface Coordination & Process Support

Act as a coordination point between Projects, Procurement, Consultants, and Suppliers during pre-award stages.

Support continuous improvement of procurement-related workflows and documentation.

Contribute to knowledge sharing and standardization efforts across projects.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

10–15 years of experience in commercial, procurement, contracts, or project controls roles.

Experience within real estate development, construction, or infrastructure projects.
-
Exposure to tendering processes, contractor management, quantity surveying, and contract administration.
