Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Title Coordinator to support our Commercial Underwriting Manager and Title Assistant. In this role, you’ll perform administrative tasks that help prepare commercial real estate files for underwriting and closing. You will not be responsible for producing title commitments but will play a key role in organizing documentation, managing file flow, and coordinating with internal team members.

Responsibilities

  • New Order Intake: Open new title orders and assist in setting up file documentation accurately in the system
  • Administrative File Prep: Collect, organize, and upload documents needed to support the underwriting and closing process.
  • Vendor Coordination: Assist in ordering and tracking title searches with third-party vendors in NC and SC.
  • Internal Communication: Work closely with the Title Assistant and Underwriting Manager to ensure files are complete and properly documented for review.
  • Document Management: Maintain organized digital files, ensuring all necessary records are saved and easily accessible.
  • General Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to support the title team, including scheduling, data entry, and follow-up on outstanding file items.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a law office or real estate environment with a focus on title processing or related legal research.
  • Strong understanding of real estate law, including property rights, liens, encumbrances, and legal documentation requirements.
  • Skilled in conducting detailed research using public records systems, GIS tools, and law office databases.
  • Familiarity with title insurance procedures and the overall process of commercial property transactions.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
