Overview

A regional full-service business law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Transactions Attorney to join its Raleigh-Durham office. The role is ideal for a lawyer with strong client skills who can handle sophisticated transactions and is motivated to help grow a developing office within a well-established firm.

Responsibilities

- Counsel clients on commercial contracts, business structuring, and general corporate matters

- Lead and support transactional matters including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and financing deals

- Work closely with colleagues across practice areas to provide comprehensive service

- Participate in business development and strengthen the firm’s presence in the Raleigh-Durham market

Qualifications

- JD (or equivalent) from an accredited law school

- 5+ years of experience in business or commercial transactions

- Active North Carolina Bar membership

- Raleigh-Durham market presence with a portable book of at least $150k (preferred $300k+)
