Associate Corporate Counsel, AWS Global Expansion

DESCRIPTION

Amazon’s Legal Department is looking for a talented Associate Corporate Counsel to support Amazon Web Services (AWS), a dynamic and rapidly growing business at the forefront of the “cloud” computing and service industry.

Key job responsibilities
This attorney will primarily support AWS' international expansion efforts, working cross-functionally with a number of internal teams to plan and execute international expansion strategies. This attorney will provide ongoing legal counsel for senior executives and other business team members.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
• 2+ years of legal experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in web services/cloud computing, software licensing, telecommunications or equivalent
• Experience in private practice or in house experience at a technology company or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $195,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
