I have been exclusively retained by a premier boutique matrimonial firm in midtown Manhattan that seeks to hire an experienced trial attorney capable of immediately stepping in to handle complex, high-net-worth matrimonial trials. The ideal candidate will have extensive courtroom experience—preferably in matrimonial or family law—but the firm is open to seasoned commercial litigators with substantial first-chair trial experience and a strong interest in transitioning to this practice. I have made 11 placements with the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as trial counsel in contested matrimonial matters
Manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
Advise clients in sensitive, high-stakes disputes involving complex financial and personal issues

What the Firm Seeks:

10+ years of matrimonial or commercial litigation experience
Significant first-chair trial experience; strong candidates include AUSAs and government prosecutors
Strong academic credentials
Matrimonial or family law background preferred but not required

What the Firm Offers:

Base salary of approximately $270,000-$300,000 (possibly more), depending on background and experience
Discretionary bonus
Annual billable hours of 1800
