Commercial Truck Driver HTV/LTV License

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle Operation:

· Safely operate commercial trucks, including heavy-duty and semi-trailers, for transporting goods to designated locations.

· Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.

2. Route Management:

· Plan and follow efficient routes for timely delivery.

· Use navigation systems or GPS to avoid delays.

3. Cargo Handling:

· Ensure proper loading and unloading of goods, including securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.

· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify cargo integrity.

4. Vehicle Maintenance:

· Conduct routine checks on vehicle systems (e.g., brakes, tires, lights) to ensure roadworthiness.

· Report any mechanical issues or repairs needed to the maintenance team.

5. Documentation:

· Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and working hours.

· Complete required paperwork, including delivery notes and logbooks.

6. Customer Interaction:

· Communicate professionally with clients during pickups and deliveries.

· Address any delivery-related concerns promptly and escalate as needed.

7. Compliance:

· Follow company policies regarding hours of service, safety procedures, and vehicle operation.

· Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national transport regulations.

Qualification : High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience : Minimum of 2-3 experience as a commercial truck driver.
