Commercial/Pricing Strategy & Planning - Senior Professional

Job Description:
The Quotation specialist collaborates with all quotation transactional stakeholders internally and externally to ensure that quotation E2E process is efficient providing the needed support to the sales and CCC population on daily basis. Ensure better overall lead time to Quote and better user experience, aligned with business goals, and responsive to market needs. The role is central to the Quotation-to-Order (Q2O) process managing digital tools like CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and MySchneider.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the Quotation Center: Overseeing daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate quote delivery.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Working with pricing, sales, marketing, and digital teams to align quotation strategies.
  • Process Optimization: Driving improvements in quotation workflows, tools (e.g., CPQ systems), and turnaround times.
  • Stakeholder management: Leading a team of quotation specialists or SMEs, ensuring competency development and performance tracking.
  • Strategic Input: Supporting pricing strategies, margin analysis, and customer-specific configurations.

Job requirements:
1. Business Acumen
  • Strong understanding of pricing, sales operations, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to align quotation strategies with business goals and customer expectations.
2. Change Management
  • Capability to lead transformation initiatives, including digital and process changes.
  • Skill in influencing mindsets and behaviors across teams.
3. Digital Fluency
  • Familiarity with digital tools and platforms, especially CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems.
  • Comfort working in a data-driven, digitally enabled environment.
4. Management
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects, especially in a matrixed or regional setup.
  • Ability to coordinate timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
5. Leadership & Communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills to lead teams and collaborate across functions.
  • Effective communicator who can drive alignment and clarity in complex environments.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Adminstration or relevant field
  • English Fluency is a must
  • 5 years of Experience
