Commi Chef- Baker

The Commis Chef supports the kitchen brigade by carrying out basic food preparation and cooking tasks to brand standards. This role focuses on learning, consistency, hygiene discipline, and accurate execution of recipes under supervision.

Scope of Role

 Basic food preparation and station support

 Following recipes and prep lists accurately

 Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of assigned area

 Supporting service flow during peak periods

 Learning kitchen standards and food safety practices

 Accuracy of prep and recipe execution

 Food safety and hygiene compliance

 Cleanliness of workstation

 Speed and reliability during service

 Responsiveness to instruction and feedback

Compliance & Food Safety Responsibilities

 Strict adherence to hygiene and handwashing procedures

 Correct use of PPE and uniform at all times

 Maintain temperature control during prep and storage

 Prevent cross-contamination through correct handling

 Escalate allergen risks or safety
