RESTAURANT TRAINING OFFICER – BASED IN DUBAI

Purpose of the role

  • The Training Officer is responsible to support and train all restaurant BOH staff in efficient management and safe food preparation and all FOH staff in customer service and any FOH related tasks in their branch. He/she will develop and deliver training to all staff in branches ensuring that there is a culture of continuous learning and improvement in the branches. In addition, will be responsible for standardizing BOH and FOH operations in KCAL, updating SOP and controlling documents in branches.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Induct and lead all Demi Chef De Partie/Kitchen-in-Charge/Commis 1 in order to ensure that they are receiving adequate support, training and resources to operate their branch at optimum level.
  • Responsible for training the staff in the entire operations in all branches as advised by the respective HODs.
  • To provide necessary training for BOH staff to improve the quality and hygiene of the food cycle from preparation through to delivery.
  • To provide necessary training for FOH staff to improve the customer experience aligned with Kcal Sequence of Service.
  • Motivate and lead employees to perform their roles to a high standard and in alignment to policies and procedures.
  • Standardize operations across all branches.
  • Create and maintain a skills grid for each restaurant employee.
  • Carry out the periodical audit of all kitchens ensuring improvements required are acted on
  • To train new kitchen helpers, cashiers and baristas and provide ongoing training as advised by the F&B Operations Manager/ Restaurant Manager.

Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma/ Equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role (At least 1 year within the U.A.E)
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Office
  • U.A.E Driving license is advantageous, not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in English

Package

  • AED 6,500/Month (AED 6,000.00 /month + AED 500 against Fuel & Salik Allowance)
