Overview
Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to culinary standards.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and assembling other food items.
  • Follow standardized recipes and techniques to ensure consistency in flavor, presentation, and portion control.
  • Work closely with senior chefs to learn culinary techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food storage areas, refrigerators, and workstations.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of food supplies, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followed.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary education or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of cooking techniques and food preparation.
